THE PROCESS

From brief to finished music.

Open each step to see what actually happens — from the first conversation through revision and delivery.

01 · DIRECTION

First understand what the music needs to do.

In person or by video call, the conversation goes beyond genre. Scene, audience, dramatic moment and desired impact are defined together.

What we establish

  • Where and how the music will be used
  • What the audience should feel
  • Timing, length, transitions and technical requirements
  • References — and which aspects actually matter

02 · MUSICAL LANGUAGE

Give the idea identity and direction.

The brief becomes motifs, instrumentation and a dramatic arc shaped around the project’s world, characters and function.

What is developed

  • Leitmotifs or recognisable musical gestures
  • Instrumentation and sonic palette
  • Tempo, harmony, rhythm and dramaturgy
  • Variations for different scenes or states

03 · FINISH

Produce, revise with purpose, deliver cleanly.

The score is arranged and produced, aligned to picture or scene, and revised from consolidated feedback.

What this phase covers

  • Production with virtual and, where useful, analogue instruments
  • Sync to picture, scene or gameplay sequence
  • Agreed revision rounds rather than endless isolated changes
  • Delivery in the agreed files, versions and formats

STYLE PROMPT → AUDIO

A direction. A musical response.

The prompts describe a direction; the audio files are genuine TISTOR tracks in a related style. Approved client briefs can be paired with their exact results later.
